The Rotary Club of Tennant Creek will again host their annual Masquerade Ball this year together with the Tennant Creek Hospital Board. Some of the revenue raised from this event will go toward Interplast Australia and New Zealand which provides free treatment to the indigent population of countries in Asia and the Pacific who cannot afford medical costs. Teams of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, anaesthetists and nurses volunteer their expertise to operate on people with cleft lips and palates, scar tissue from burns, skin conditions and other medical issues. Interplast commenced in 1983 and has operated on more than 20,000 people since its inception. Enjoy a three course buffet dinner with music by Short Notice. There is a prize for Belle and Beau of the Ball and lucky door prizes. Dress is formal attire and tickets are limited to 130, with no door sales. ...
