Held annually, on the first Saturday in December, with the main race being the 'Sundowners Cup' - named in honour of the movie 'The Sundowners' which was filmed in and around Cooma and Adaminaby in 1959. One thousand locals were extras at the Ti Tree Racecourse when the race scene was filmed for the movie.
