The Captain Harry Butler Red Monoplane Memorial houses in a glass hangar a static display of the Captains famous little monoplane Red Devil and celebrates his life and achievements. Harry Butler was a local boy who grew up with a fascination for flight, including that of his mother's chooks! Using his own resources he travelled to England to join the air force during the First World War, and in time become a gifted instructor and heroic pilot.
