Situated within the stunning grounds of the Australian Inland Botanic Gardens is Mildura’s hidden gem, Botanica. Stroll in to discover a barn style fitout with exposed wood banisters, long communal tables and pendant lighting hanging from a tin roof, making for a rustic, relaxed space to enjoy a smooth cup of Vittoria coffee before perusing the gardens. Created by Chef, Dag Demarkow & Co, this pop-up café can also cater for weddings and functions for up to 200 guests. Enjoy a tasty brunch of the Thai pork shredded taco with sriracha slaw, radish, coriander, almond, lime, smoked salmon, potato cakes, horseradish cream, watercress and lemon or perhaps share a Botanica platter of cold cuts, preserves, cheese, paté and grilled vegetables finished with a slice of quandong frangipane tart.
